Surveys would be a very helpful tool for teachers to use both in and out of the classroom. I am hoping to teach elementary education, so I could use surveys to gauge how my students are comprehending subject matter and base my lesson plans on the feedback I receive. I could also use surveys as a way to communicate with parents, either by collecting their feedback on my teaching styles or on school-wide issues. Surveys are a great way to collect a large amount of data in a short time and give teachers the opportunity to easily assess how students or parents are responding to different concerns. While reviewing my classmates' blogs, I really enjoyed reading through the "About Me" blogs. It's hard to get to know people with all of my classes being online, so I loved being able to get a glimpse into everyone's lives and what everyone is interested in.
